Adopt a Red Heeler (short coat)

Red Heeler (short coat) Dog

BEAR the Dog needs a home

Hi my name is Bear.  I am a 9 year old Red Heeler boy who weighs 45 lbs.  I am super sweet and very loving.  I love people and come up to greet everyone.  I do need to learn that gently jumping up on you is not the appropriate greeting though.  I just get excited and want to make sure you know I am here.  I am strong and do pull on the leash when I walk.  A harness would be a good idea for me and my foster mom has one for me.  That will definitely make walking much easier for both of us.  I get along great with other dogs no matter what their size but am unsure of cats.  I love to go for car rides and an open door is all I need as an invitation to go.  I jump right in the back seat and look out the window.  I am so glad that Miss Peggy agreed to foster me.  My mom and dad could no longer take care of me and I heard them talking about putting me to sleep.  I am not sure what they meant but it sounded a lot worse than going to sleep at night.  Any way I don't have to worry about that now.  All I need is someone like you to see my handsome pictures and give me a forever home.  I am a little too old to head to the farm and to work but I would be a great family pet.  I would just need an active family and a fenced in yard so I can get the exercise that I need.  I am already housebroken so you don't have to worry about that.  Give me a few days to settle in and it will be like I have always been here.  I hope you like what you have read and that you are ready to contact Miss Vivienne to learn more about me.  You can reach her at [email protected] or 615-943-7311.  APPROVED APPLICATION AND ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.  I am current on all my shots, neutered and microchipped.  I am also on monthly flea/tick/heartworm preventative.
